Day 187: What I did for the Sketchbook Project

6 Jul

We interrupt the steady stream of Game of Thrones drawings to announce that

MY SKETCHBOOK IS FINALLY UP ON THE SKETCHBOOK PROJECT WEBSITE. AFTER TEN GODDAMNED YEARS.

In case you don’t remember (and you probably don’t because even I had forgotten. a bit. {not really}). Back in January, I wrote a story about an astronaut and his last summer on Earth (in which he discovers love, heartbreak, and most importantly, friendship) before going off on a mission to Mars. It is called “Last Summer” and it is 232 lines of rhymes. And it is illustrated (poorly because I did everything in 4 days, 3 of which was spent writing the damned story). And my handwriting is not the most legible. And I misspelled the word “before” somewhere towards the end.

Meet Neil and June.

And Walden P., my favorite.

Feel free to leave messages of adoration because clearly it deserves some sort of award. Like Best in Cheese. Or Most Successful Use of the Word Gangrene in a Love Story.

That is all! See you next time!
